The system

A pump, a listener, a brain. End-to-end brownfield.

Buy the whole stack, or just the piece that fits. The Echo listener and the Brain control layer run on any artificial-lift system you already operate.
Defined

An anti-buckling rod pump is a drop-in sucker rod pump that keeps the rod string in tension at every stroke, so the bottom of the string never goes into compression and has nothing to buckle. It solves buckling at the source instead of adding sinker bars.

Hardware · Hardware · Software

Two instruments. One brain.

We mechanically stop buckling in the rod. We listen down the well with sound. Then a control layer reads both and runs the pump for you. The whole stack, or any piece.

SRABS Pump

Anti-buckling rod pump
A mechanically re-engineered sucker rod pump that keeps the rod string in tension where it would otherwise buckle. The buckling problem, solved at the source.

SRABS Echo

Acoustic multi-measurement · edge
An automated acoustic edge device. Reads fluid level, bubble point, reservoir pressure & pump conditioning, from a single signal, fully remote. Works with any artificial-lift system.

SRABS Brain

AI control & SCADA optimization
A physics-informed control layer that reads the pump, Echo and your existing SCADA, predicts buckling, retunes the VSD, and runs the well autonomously. Set guardrails. We close the loop.

What comes next · 2026 → 2028

The roadmap. In order.

Each step unlocks the next. The anti-buckling pump removes the rod string, which lets us run a powered cable downhole, which lets us put real sensors at the pump, which feeds the Brain real data instead of inference. Two adjacencies along the way.

The spine

SRABS Line

Powered steel cable · fiber + conductor
Steel cable bundling power, fiber optics, and sensor lines into a single downhole spine. The anti-buckling pump frees the casing for it, and everything after Line hangs off it.

The pulse

SRABS Pulse

Downhole sensor head · on the pump
A sensor head on top of the pump. Pressure, temperature, vibration at the source, plus distributed temperature sensing along the entire fiber. Pings back up Line. Real telemetry, not inference.

SRABS Enhance

EOR · downhole production stimulation
A downhole enhanced-oil-recovery (EOR) service that wakes tired wells. Electric-pulse and resonance-frequency stimulation reset the producing baseline. Install the SRABS stack to hold the gain. Wells don’t have to age.

The flare

SRABS Flare

Stranded gas → wellhead compute
Stranded or flared gas at the wellhead powers a modular Bitcoin-mining container. Waste becomes a revenue line item. Pairs naturally with Brain, same dispatch logic, same telemetry.

SRABS Pump · since 2003

20 years of buckling research, productized.

The anti-buckling method came out of two decades of sucker rod research at European technical universities, published in SPE journals and field-tested before it became a product.
